From November 15 to 17, 2017, the "2017 International Symposium on Criminal Science and Technology" was held in Beijing. The conference was organized by the School of Criminal Science and Technology of the people's Public Security University of China in conjunction with the Shanghai key Laboratory of Field physical evidence. More than 180 technical experts from more than 20 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, public security departments, public security institutions, procuratorates, judicial experts and other institutions attended the meeting.

The seminar focused on the high and new technologies and equipment in the areas of criminal investigation and physical evidence identification of public security, from the United States.
